About Golden Comfort Care

My name is Mary Kay Daniels. I was the third of four children born to graduates of Courtland College. My father was a career Marine and I came into this world at Great Lakes Naval Base in Illinois. Dad was a marine for twenty-two years and my mother was a physical education teacher. We lived in many places due to the military including New York, Hawaii, Virginia and Florida. I began gymnastics classes at age nine which ended up shaping many of my life events. At age eleven, I was Virginia State Champion. In New York I was on an all-star team. After competing in Florida I was recruited to the University of Arizona for a full athletic scholarship. While competing for Arizona I succeeded with Four-Time All America Honors. My area of study was Food Science and I graduated with a bachelors in Food Chemistry. From there I moved to Chicago working as a scientist for Citgo Petroleum. Returning to Florida for warmth and family, I coached and choreographed for local athletes for fifteen years. At that time I decided to go to Physical Therapy Assistant school earning an Associates degree. I worked as a PTA for eighteen years. I have most recently been involved in caregiving for the elderly and am excited to take on the role of business owner in the field.
